Poppet hops along

Poppet (my one-legged dunnock) continues well. Here she is in a short video shot earlier this week...

  1. I have just caught up with yesterday's post as well as this one. How exciting to have a new arrival, I know I would have been just as excited. Although on a different scale to a horse I am always consumed by excitement when choosing a new dog so can imagine how you felt. Mango is beautiful as is Neems, I suspect they will soon be the best of friends, Mango looks very laid back.

I enjoyed all your photos and the videos on both posts and it was lovely to hear your commentaries. The little Dunnock looks like it is coping well :-)

    1. Yes, lots of stroppy female behaviour on display at the moment, almost all of it driven by insecurity. She's happier this morning now she's seeing there isn't any favouritism going on.

  3. Poppet is very sweet...lovely to actually see her moving around on that good leg. I do envy you Mango's temperament. Trigger can traumatise a three acre paddock in seconds in his excitement at meeting new friends!
